Bihar Education Project Council (BEPC), Patna (Bihar)

Bihar Education Project Council (BEPC) is an autonomous body of Education Department, Govt. of Bihar, has now completed about two and half decade in implementing various education programmes including Samagra Shiksha in the state up to senior secondary level. At the onset, BEPC had successfully implemented World Bank assisted five-year District Primary Educational Programme (DPEP), Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan across the state as State Implementation Society (SIS).

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a national level board of education in India for public and private schools, controlled and managed by the Government of India. Established in 1929 by a resolution of the government, the Board was an experiment towards inter-state integration and cooperation in the sphere of secondary education. There are more than 27,000 schools in India and 240 schools in 28 foreign countries affiliated to the CBSE. All schools affiliated to CBSE follow the NCERT curriculum especially from class 9 to 12.

Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj, Nashik

The Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj is one of the most prestigious centers of learning in the State of Maharashtra. It has been over 109 years that it has stood the test of time to become legend of unparalleled stature. History says that the credit for the birth of M.V.P. Rayat Shikshan Sansta(RSS), Satara

The Rayat Shikshan Sanstha is one of the leading educational institutions in Asia. It is significant to note that all the important policy decisions of the Sanstha are arrived at in the true important policy decisions of the Sanstha are arrived at in the true spirit of democratic principles.

Saraswati Bhuvan Education Society

Established in 1915, Saraswati Bhuvan Education Society has immensely contributed not only to education but also to public life of this region. Motivated by the patriotic fervour many of its founding fathers had fought for the freedom of Hyderabad State from the yoke of Nizam’s regime, post independence the fulcrum of socio-political-development movements of this region had been SB Education Society. SB, the centennial institution, is still one of the few institutions in the State whose members have made a mark in their respective fields and are those who value education and social commitment. The glorious traditions and the best practices of the years are still continued by adapting new trends with the changing times thereby making educational transaction relevant.

Shri Shivaji Education Society, Amravati

The Shri Shivaji Education Society, Amravati is a premier educational institution of Central India with branches in all the districts of Vidarbha in Maharastra. It is registered as a Public Charitable Trust ( R.N. F/89). Its founder President was the late Dr. Panjabrao alias Bhausaheb Deshmukh who established various schools, colleges, hostels and other teaching and technical institutions and devoted all his energy for strengthening and enlarging the activities of the Shri Shivaji Education Society, Amravati. The Society was registered in December 1932. In 1958, it had one primary school, seven middle schools and eight colleges. Today it runs 24 senior colleges 54 Jr. colleges, 75 middle schools, 35 hostels mainly in the region of Vidarbha but also in other parts of the state. The educational institutions cover areas like agriculture, arts, bio-technology, computers, education, physical education, engineering, horticulture, information technology, law, medicine, micro-biology and the pure sciences. It also runs a Polytechnic for boys and girls at Amravati.

Shri Swami Vivekanand Shikshan Sanstha(SSVSS), Kolhapur

'Shri Swami Vivekanand Shikshan Sanstha, Kolhapur' is one of the few renowned and leading educational institutions in Maharashtra (India). Dr. Bapuji Salunkhe started toying with his dream- project of founding an educational institute which he did in 1954. He made the resolution of founding 'Shri Swami Shikshan Sanstha' in a small temple of Lord Muralidhar (Lord Krishna) Situated on the confluence of holy rivers the krishna and the Koyana. He selected equally holy place to begin the sacred mission which, later on, become a life-time work for Dr. Bapuji Salunkhe. The Sanstha's tagline, "Education For Knowledge, Science and Refined Culture" represents it's aims: to inculcate in life the basic values such as truth, honesty character, anti-exploitation spirit, love, social service and sacrifice; to insist on sanctity and coordination of thought, expression and practice.

State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT), Bihar

SCERT was set up to provide academic leadership and to act as the hub of academic research innovation, inspiration and motivation within the State. It was established to be a symbol of quality and provide philosophical and sociological insights into education for transformation of society. It is responsible mainly for designing the curriculum, development of textbooks, supervision of DIETs and teacher training. The SCERT is a lead academic institution at State level providing support to DIETs, CTEs and engaged in educational research and training. It is functioning along the lines of NCERT at the state level, providing advice to State government on policy issues, support to implementation and appraisal of programmes and undertaking activities for quality improvement in school education and teacher education. SCERT is the apex level academic bodies in the States for school education.

An institute was established in January 1964 as Rajya Shikshan Shastra Sanstha mainly to improve the standard/quality of primary education. Reorganization of State Education and other State Level Educational Institutions (State Education Institute, Maharashtra State, Pune Vocational Guidance and Selection Institute, Mumbai, Audio-Visual Education Institute, Pune, State English Language Teaching Institute, Mumbai, State Science Education Institute, Nagpur) Maharashtra State Educational Research and Training Council has been established vide Government Decision Education and Service Planning Department No: PTC 1084/6895/(25/84) Mashi-4, dated 31/8/1984. The administration of the said institution is under the auspices of the Department of School Education and Sports, Ministry, State of Maharashtra, Mumbai.

State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT), Uttarakhand

State Council of Educational Research and Training, Uttarakhand (SCERT, UK) was established on 17Jan, 2002 through GO no.10-/Madhyamic 2002 to provide support to school education system through educational research and trainings. RTE act 2009 has mandated SCERT as the academic authority of the state. SCERT Uttarakhand believes that every child can learn and will realize its optimum potential if a favorable environment is provided.
